Thomas was born in September 1852 in Bromley.1  Thomas' father was David Hale and his mother was Mary Millman. He had four brothers and two sisters, named David, John, George, Edward, Mary and Hephybah.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 62 in September 1914 in Birkenhead.2

      Both my Aunt Margaret and Les Thomas had copies of this photo and the names (all in agreement), although Les hadn't named Richard Timmis Brereton as the younger man on the left.

‌Thomas and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1876 at St. Mary (Birkenhead).4  They had seven sons and four daughters, named George, Dave, Tom, Jack, Ted, Bill, Henry, Mary, Aggie, Annie and Flo.  There are no more children.
