General Notes
WARNIG: There are several PICKLES+SMITH marriages registered at Keighley. Walter George Pickles (1866-1868) is another (his headstone shows a sister Elizabeth and Brother Herbert). They were children of Joseph & Mary Pickles.
1849 to 1863, Edward, James, Sarah and Mary Ann were all baptised at All Saints, Bingley, so we are sure of them.
Living with a blacksmith in 1841 in Padiham, Colne, Burnley, Lancashire, but link to this family confirmed later by him living with sister Caroline in 1851 and niece Jane Smith in 1871.
Had Joseph Smith b.1828 (related to Henry maybe) lodging with them in Bingley in 1851. Was also with his sister Caroline and wife Hannah and first son.
Living in Keighly in 1861.
Living at Eldon St., Bingley, Yorkshire in 1871, with niece Jane staying with them.
Living at 11 St Johns St Primitive Methodist Chapel House in 1881 with another niece Sarah Smith
Robert and Hannah were living alone at Crossflatts in 1891
His middle name, Valietine, was recorded at time of death.
