James Pendlebury

James' father was Albert Pendlebury and his mother was Catherine Dowd. His paternal grandparents were James Pendlebury and Eliza Mather. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Frank, Arthur, Mary, Ellen, Catherine and Lucy. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Frank, Albert, Alexander, Robert, William, Elizabeth and Edna. He died at the age of 77 in March 1971 in Bolton.²
