Albert was born on August 14th, 1909 in Bolton and his baptism took place on September 29th, 1909 at St. Matthew (Halliwell).1 2  Albert's father was Albert Pendlebury and his mother was Matilda Fleming.  His paternal grandparents were James Pendlebury and Eliza Mather. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Frank, Alexander, Robert, William, Elizabeth and Edna.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James, James, Frank, Arthur, Mary, Ellen, Catherine and Lucy.  He died at the age of 64 on May 6th, 1974 in Bolton.  He was buried on May 10th, 1974.3 4
