Hannah Mather

Hannah was born in 1830 in Harwood and her baptism took place on February 27th, 1834 at St. Leonard (Middleton).¹²

Hannah's father was Nathaniel (Nathan) Mather and her mother was Alice Brooks. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Peter, William, John, Nathaniel, Joseph, Nancy and Alice. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named John. She died at the age of 37 in 1867 in Manchester.³

Death Notes
- Possibly died Market Street area of Manchester in 1867, but named Ann, not Hannah. Thomas Baily death was also recorded at Market Street in 1861.
