Richard Mather came to America without Hannah in September 1848, so Hannah had presumed died by then. Cant find Hannah on the 1841 census, although Richard is there (60, Ag Lab) at Sharples, so Hannah may have died before 1841. There is a Hannah Mather died Q4/1844, Turton, aged 64 and another died 1848, Little Bolton, aged 68. One of these was at Dawes St, Bolton in 1841 (Not from Lancashire with son Samuel an Iron Moulder)

There are several possible Hannah deaths:
1827 Hannah Mather, Aged 51, Bolton le Moors, buried 25 Nov 1827, wife of William Mather (but I cant find a Willian & Hannah family)
The 3 Feb 1839 burial at St. Johns, Bury is quite close to Harwood where they lived, but Hannah Sharples (1805-1839) wife of another Richard Mather.

General Notes
If the 3 May 1777 baptism at Turton is correct, then Hannah had an older sister Peggy baptised 19 Mar 1775 as well as 4 other siblings 1769-1774. 10y later, there was a Mally Knowles, baptised 2 Sep 1787 (same parents), but this may be another family.

Hannah lived in Raikes for twenty years from 1810 to about 1830.3
Occupancy/Contact Notes
Richard and Hannah Mather and family were living at Raikes (farm) in the early 1800s. “Harwood” was shown as the abode on Ann’s baptism (1811), and “Rakes, Harwood” on Richards (1815) and John’s (1816). Then simply “Harwood” again for Henry (1819), James (1821) and Peter (1823). Also, son Nathaniel’s wife Nancy Bromiley died in Dec 1822 and is buried here and first three children born at Harwood (or Harwood Lee on Hannah’s 1851 census, born 1830). The family had moved by 1841.

Hannah and Richard were married in a religious ceremony on January 8th, 1800 at St. Peter's (Bolton) by minister John Lutener (Baptist Minister) and witnessed by John Kershaw & William Orrell.4
Marriage/Union Notes
Minister John Lutener married this couple and the other coulpe, William Sharples and Dolly Kershaw, who were married this day. The four may have been close friends as Dolly was witness to Richard and Hannah (before she then married).

William was 30 when he sailed to NY in 1840, so born about 1810
In the 1850 US Census, William is 42, so born about 1808 and has wife Ellen with him, aged 38. He was 47 when he died, so born late 1808 (about Sept).
There are several facts that show that William is of this family:
1) His first daughter Catherine is buried at Walmsley Chapel. If William was baptised here, then his records were lost (as all the records were lost 1800-1812).
2) Walmsley baptism records are lost between 1795 and 1815, Richard (his father) is on the 1841 census, ages 60, but the oldest child is then John, aged 18. There must be others on these lost records!
3) Father Richard and brother John came to live in the US and join William and his wife.
4) From US records we know William was born about 1808, and also we know he married Ellen at St Peter Bolton, and of Bolton Parish.Death Notes
William Mather (1807-1856) settled in Baltimore County, Maryland and went to work in a cotton mill.
He died at The Village of Cross Keys, Baltimore County, Maryland.
An obituary (with the wrong name) reads:

Later baptisms for Richard and John show the abode as Rakes, Harwood. However, in 1851, James Booth is shown from Harweed Lee, but Ann from Sharples.

There are several possible deaths for Robert in Bolton. However, 1860 fits well with family split up and his son John being in lodgings in 1861.

There is a Peter Mather from Eccles, but he was the older brother of James and Mary Mather form Eccles, alive in 1841 from a coal mining family.
There is another Peter Mather, son of John & Phebe born 19 May 1825 at Leigh. This Peter's birth matches the age 19 at death.

Recorded as Sharples, so probably born Harwood as the other family.
