Elizabeth was born on September 16th, 1295 in Tewksbury, Gloucester, England.  Elizabeth's father was Lord Gilbert De Clare and her mother was Joan Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Maud de Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Edward I 'Longshanks' and Lady Eleanor of Castile. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gilbert, Lady Margaret and Alianor (Eleanor).  She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas and Mary.  She died at the age of 65 on November 4th, 1360.

‌Elizabeth and John were married in a religious ceremony on September 30th, 1308 in Waltham Abbey.  They had a son named William.


Elizabeth's second family with Roger d'Amorie

‌Elizabeth and Roger were married in a religious ceremony on May 3rd, 1317.  They had two daughters named Elizabeth and Alianore.


Elizabeth's third family with Sir Theobald de Verdon

‌Elizabeth and Sir Theobald were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a daughter named Isabel.
