Queen of Castile was born in Burgos, Castile, Spain.  Queen of Castile's father was Alphonso VIII 'the Good' Sanchez and her mother was Eleanor Plantagenet.  Her paternal grandparents were Sancho III "The Desired" Alfonsez and Blanch Garces; her maternal grandparents were Henry II Curtmantle Plantagenet and Duchess of Aquitaine Eläeonore. She had a brother and ten sisters, named I, Prince of Castile, Princess of Castile, Prince of Castile, Blanche of, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile and Blanca.  She died on November 8th, 1246 in Burgos, Castile, Spain.
