Edward I was born on June 17th, 1239 in Westminster Palace, London, England.  Edward I's father was Henry III Plantagenet and his mother was Elâonore Bâerenger.  His paternal grandparents were John Lackland and Lady Isabella Taillefer d'Angoulême; his maternal grandparents were Raymond Bâerenger and Bâeatrice de Savoie. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Henry, William, Richard, Edmund Crouchback, Margaret, Beatrice, Mary and Katherine.  He died at the age of 68 on July 7th, 1307 in Burgh-on-the Sands, Cumberland, England.


Edward I's first family with Lady Eleanor of Castile

‌Edward I and Lady Eleanor of were married in a religious ceremony on October 18th, 1254.  They had four sons and eleven daughters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward, Eleanor, Juliana 'Katherine', Joan, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Nun at Amesbury, Isabella and Alice.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Thomas, Edmund and Eleanor.
