Louis VI "the Fat" was born about 1081 in Paris, France.  Louis VI "the Fat"'s father was Philippe I 'the Fair' Capet and his mother was Bertha of Holland.  His paternal grandparents were Henry I Capet and Anna Yaroslavna; his maternal grandparents were I Florent and Gertrude Von Sachsen. He had three brothers and a sister, named Henri, Charles, Eudes and Constance.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died on August 1st, 1137 in Chateau Bethizy, Paris, France.


Louis VI "the Fat"'s family with Adelaide De Maurienne

‌Louis VI "the Fat" and Adelaide were married in a religious ceremony in 1115.  They had seven sons and a daughter, named Philippe Prince of, Louis VII 'the Younger', Archbishop of Rheims, Prince of France, Robert I, Arch Dean of Paris, I and Constance.
