Eleanor was born on June 17th, 1264 in Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.  Eleanor's father was Edward I 'Longshanks' and her mother was Lady Eleanor of Castile.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet and Elâonore Bâerenger; her maternal grandparents were III Ferdinand and Jeanne De Dammartin. She had four brothers and ten sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward, Juliana 'Katherine', Joan, Margaret, Berengaria, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Blanche, Nun at Amesbury, Isabella and Alice. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, Edmund, John and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 34 in 1298.

‌Eleanor and III were married in a religious ceremony in 1293.  They had a son and a daughter, named Edward and Eleanor.
