In 1851, John, Son, Married, born Adlington, was a quarryman, aged 38.In He was with his parents Catherine (61 & 60) at Higher Lane, Adlington.
In 1858, John Mather, quarryman, son of Nathaniel Mather, Plasterer married Clementing Stokes at St. Peter's, Liverpool.
