Edward Mather

Edward was born in 1825 in Adlington and his baptism took place there on April 17th, 1825.¹ Edward's father was Nathan Mather and his mother was Catherine Bibby. His paternal grandparents were Edward (Nedde) Mather and Mary Hough. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Nathan, Nathan, Edward, Thomas, Richard, Mary, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann and Margaret. He had an adopted brother named Edward. He died due to a childhood disease at the age of 1 on August 16th, 1826 in Adlington.¹
