Mary Mather

Mary was born on February 10th, 1812 in Heath Charnock and her baptism took place on March 8th, 1812 at St. Laurence (Chorley).¹

Mary's father was Nathan Mather and her mother was Catherine Bibby. Her paternal grandparents were Edward (Nedde) Mather and Mary Hough. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, Nathan, Nathan, Edward, Thomas, Richard, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann and Margaret. She had an adopted brother named Edward.
