Esther Mather

Esther was born in June 1823 in Adlington and her baptism took place on August 31st, 1823 at St. Katherine (B'rod).

Birth Notes

Esther's father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Amy (Amey or Emy) Worsley. Her paternal grandparents were Edward (Nedde) Mather and Mary Hough. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, James, Isaac, Nathan, Thomas, Peggy, Lucy and Ellen. She was the oldest of the nine children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John, Edward, Thomas, William, Mary, Alice, Ellen and Catherine.
