Robert Madther

Robert was born in 1766 in Radcliffe and his baptism took place on December 21st, 1766 at St. Mary (Radcliffe).¹

Robert's father was Robert Madther and his mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Ripson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Francis, John, Samuel, James, Sally and Rachel. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 in December 1846 in Walmersley. His burial was on December 25th, 1846 in Bury.²³
