Rachel Mather

Rachel was born in 1778 in Radcliffe and her baptism took place on March 8th, 1778 at St. Mary (Radcliffe).

Rachel's father was Robert Madther and her mother was Betty (Elizabeth) Ripson. She had six brothers and a sister, named Richard, Francis, Robert, John, Samuel, James and Sally. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 in 1858 in Holcombe.
