Walter Leatherbarrow

Walter was born in September 1860 in Bolton.¹

Walter's father was Robert Leatherbarrow and his mother was Ellen Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ellen Warburton. He had ten brothers and six sisters, named James, John, William, Robert, Thomas, Albert, Robert, George, George, Walter, Alice, Sarah, Alice, Sarah, Mary and Ada.  He was the fourth oldest of the seventeen children.  He died as an infant at 9 months old in June 1861 in Bolton.¹
