Sarah Leatherbarrow

Sarah was born in June 1866 in Little Bolton.¹

Sarah's father was Robert Leatherbarrow and her mother was Ellen Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ellen Warburton. She had eleven brothers and five sisters, named James, John, Walter, William, Robert, Thomas, Albert, Robert, George, George, Walter, Alice, Sarah, Alice, Mary and Ada.  She was the eighth oldest of the seventeen children.  She died as an infant in 1866 in Little Bolton.¹
