Samuel Brooks

Samuel was born in August 1892 in Astley Bridge and his baptism took place on August 10th, 1892 at St. Paul's (Astley Bridge).¹²

Birth Notes

Samuel's father was Charles Brooks and his mother was Matilda Ainsworth. His paternal grandparents were James Brooks and Alice Mather. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Ernest and Mary. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had seven half-brothers named Joseph, James, John, Charles, George, William and Robert. He died at the age of 2 in April 1895 in Sharples.¹
