Jacob+ Beals 
Jacob+ was born on November 27th, 1766 in Guilford, NC. Jacob+'s father was Bowater+ Beals and his mother was Sarah Ann+ Cook. His paternal grandparents were John II+ Beals and Sarah+ Bowater; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Cook and Mary+ Underwood. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John Bowater, Nathan, Ann, Ruth, Phebe, Mary and Sarah Charity. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 93 on September 15th, 1860 in Westfield, Hamilton, IN. He was buried in North Cemetery, Westfield, Hamilton, IN.General Notes
