Bowater+ Beals 
Bowater+ was born in 1725 in York, Chester Co., PA. Bowater+'s father was John II+ Beals and his mother was Sarah+ Bowater. His paternal grandparents were John Beals and Mary Clayton; his maternal grandparents were John Bowater and Frances Corbet. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named John III, Thomas, Sarah+, Lydia, Mary Ann, Phoebe, Prudence, Hannah and Rachel. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 56 on February 19th, 1781 in Westfield, Surrey, NC. He was buried in New Garden, Guilford, NC.General Notes
