Ann Beals 
Ann was born on September 3rd, 1755 in Surry, NC. Ann's father was Bowater+ Beals and her mother was Sarah Ann+ Cook. Her paternal grandparents were John II+ Beals and Sarah+ Bowater; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Cook and Mary+ Underwood. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John Bowater, Jacob+, Nathan, Ruth, Phebe, Mary and Sarah Charity. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 79 on August 27th, 1835.General Notes
