Elizabeth was born on June 12th, 1670 in Nether Gournell, Sedgley, Staffordshire, England. Elizabeth's father was William Brinton and her mother was Anne Bagley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas+ Brinton and Ann+ Biddle; her maternal grandparents were Edward+ Bagley and Anne X. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, William, Ann and Esther.
