Clemence-Margarite was born about 1100.  Clemence-Margarite's father was Count Etienne ("Tete-Hardi") de Vienne I of Macon and her mother was Beatrix de Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were Count William ("le Grand") I of Burgundy and Etienette de Longwy; her maternal grandparents were Duke Gerard de Lorraine IV and Hedwig de Namur. She had two brothers named William and Renaud.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She was buried in Abbey of Ayes, France.


Clemence-Margarite's family with Count Guigues d'Albon IV of Grenoble

‌Clemence-Margarite and Guigues were married in a religious ceremony in 1132.  They had a son named Guigues.
