Raimund, known as "the Crooked", was born in 1005 in Barcelona, Spain.  "the Crooked"'s father was Raymond Berengar Borrell III Barcelona and his mother was Ermensinde de Carcassonne.  His paternal grandparents were Count Ramon Borrell II of Barcelona and Luitgarde de Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Count Roger de Comminges I of Carcassonne and Adelaide de Rouergues. He had a brother and two sisters, named Berenger Ramon, Adela Estefania and Godeheut.  He died at the age of 30 on May 26th, 1035.  He was buried in Santa Maria, Ripoll, Gerona, Spain.


"the Crooked"'s family with Sancha Sanchez de Castille

‌"the Crooked" and Sancha Sanchez were married in a religious ceremony in 1021 in Spain.  They had a son named "the Elder", "el Viejo".
