Berenger Ramon was born in 1005 in Barcelona, Spain.  Berenger Ramon's father was Raymond Berengar Borrell III Barcelona and his mother was Ermensinde de Carcassonne.  His paternal grandparents were Count Ramon Borrell II of Barcelona and Luitgarde de Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Count Roger de Comminges I of Carcassonne and Adelaide de Rouergues. He had a brother and two sisters, named "the Crooked", Adela Estefania and Godeheut.  He died at the age of 30 on May 26th, 1035.  He was buried in Santa Marie de Ripoll.
