Comte Guifre ("the Hairy", "el Velloso") of Barcelona

Guifre, known as "the Hairy", "el Velloso", was born in 0840 in Urgel, Lerida, Spain. "the Hairy", "el Velloso"'s father was Count Sunifred I of Barcelona, Urgel, & Ampurias and his mother is Ermesende de Carcassonne. His paternal grandfather was Count Bello of Carcassone; his maternal grandfather was Count Bellon of Carcassonne and his maternal grandmother is Luitgarde. He had two brothers named Emidon I and Gausberto. He died due to in battle with the Moors at the age of 57 on August 21st, 0897.
