Rachel Happy Boland 
Rachel Happy was born on October 30th, 1853 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Rachel Happy's father was Middleton Boland and her mother was Anna Barbara Frick. Her paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. She had six brothers and six sisters, named David, Abraham Noah, Levi Calhoun, Edward Jonah, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Louise Alice, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Emma, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. She died at the age of 81 on August 2nd, 1935 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. She was buried in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
