David Boland 
David was born on August 30th, 1849 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 David's father was Middleton Boland and his mother was Anna Barbara Frick. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Abraham Noah, Levi Calhoun, Edward Jonah, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Rachel Happy, Louise Alice, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Emma, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. He died at the age of 77 on November 3rd, 1926 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
