Louise Alice was born on June 27th, 1855 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Louise Alice's father was Middleton Boland and her mother was Anna Barbara Frick. Her paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. She had six brothers and six sisters, named David, Abraham Noah, Levi Calhoun, Edward Jonah, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Rachel Happy, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Emma, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. She died at the age of 1 on July 25th, 1856 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. She was buried in Boland Cemetery #2, Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 1 -
