Middleton Boland 
Middleton was born on January 20th, 1826 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1 Middleton's father was Abram Boland and his mother was Eva Christina Sease. His paternal grandparents were John (Johannes) Boland and Feltman; his maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Fredrick, Joseph, John Adam, Levi, John Mark, Ephriam Walter, Ozro, Cedelle Edward and Catherine "Katie". He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named John Adam. He died at the age of 69 on April 19th, 1895 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. Buried at Middleton Boland home place, Little Mountain, SC. The
cemetery is located between US 76 and Mt. Tabor Road (the old highway 76)
about one half mile from Little Mountain. The Cemetery contains Six
marked tombstones: Middleton Boland, Barbara (wife of Middleton), Annie
Barbara Frick, Lula Beatress Boland (daughter), Louise Alice Boland
(daughter), and Ellen Boland (daughter).
It was upon visiting this cemetery that it was first discovered that
Middleton Boland had two wives. Until this time only Annie Barbara
Frick had been listed as his wife, yet there is also another Babara
buried immediately next to Middleton with an identical tombstone as his.
Her foot stone has the initials of "B. M. B." on it.
Further research is needed into these relationships,.......... who
was Barbara M.?
