Ephriam Walter was born on January 2nd, 1824 in Little Mountain, South Carolina.1   Ephriam Walter's father was Abram Boland and his mother was Eva Christina Sease.  His paternal grandparents were John (Johannes) Boland and Feltman; his maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Fredrick, Joseph, John Adam, Levi, John Mark, Middleton, Ozro, Cedelle Edward and Catherine "Katie".  He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named John Adam.  He died at the age of 78 on November 2nd, 1902 in Big Creek, Calhoun County, Mississippi.  He was buried in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Big Creek, Calhoun County, Mississippi.1 1
