John Adam Boland 
John Adam was born on March 26th, 1813 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 John Adam's father was Abram Boland and his mother was Eva Christina Sease. His paternal grandparents were John (Johannes) Boland and Feltman; his maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Fredrick, Joseph, Levi, John Mark, Ephriam Walter, Middleton, Ozro, Cedelle Edward and Catherine "Katie". He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named John Adam. He died at the age of 71 on May 24th, 1884 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried in Boland Cemetery #4, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 1 General Notes

Buried at his home approximately 2 miles from birthplace, where
Whippoorwill Road meets US 76 and Old Dutch Road, Little Mountain, SC.
Also buried at this site is his wife, Anna Hipp and his sons Jonas Benson
