Cedelle Edward was born about 1830.1 Cedelle Edward's father was Abram Boland and his mother was Eva Christina Sease. His paternal grandparents were John (Johannes) Boland and Feltman; his maternal grandparents were John Mark Suss\Seas\Sease and Nancy Shirer. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Fredrick, Joseph, John Adam, Levi, John Mark, Ephriam Walter, Middleton, Ozro and Catherine "Katie". He was the youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named John Adam.-
