John Adam was born on March 26th, 1813 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. John Adam's father was Abram Boland and his mother was Unknown. His paternal grandparents were John (Johannes) Boland and Feltman. He had ten half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Fredrick, Joseph, John Adam, Levi, John Mark, Ephriam Walter, Middleton, Ozro, Cedelle Edward and Catherine "Katie". He died at the age of 71 on May 24th, 1884 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. He was buried in Family Cemetery, Whippoorwhill Rd, Newberry County, SC.-
