John (Johannes) Boland 
John (Johannes) was born in 1749 in Haina, Hesse-Cassel, Germany.1 John (Johannes)'s father was Johannes Bohland and his mother was Elizabeth Naumann. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Bohland and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died at the age of 83 in 1832 in Little Mountain, Lexington, S.C.. He was buried in Boland Cenetary.1 General Notes

to fight during the Revolutionary War. His son, William J. fought under
