Emma Boland 
Emma was born on January 24th, 1865 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Emma's father was Middleton Boland and her mother was Anna Barbara Frick. Her paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. She had six brothers and six sisters, named David, Abraham Noah, Levi Calhoun, Edward Jonah, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Rachel Happy, Louise Alice, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. She died at the age of 83 on August 16th, 1948 in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina. She was buried in Holy Trinity Church Cemetery, Little Mountain, SC.1 1 -
