Edward Jonah Boland 
Edward Jonah was born on June 8th, 1873 in Near Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Edward Jonah's father was Middleton Boland and his mother was Anna Barbara Frick. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named David, Abraham Noah, Levi Calhoun, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Rachel Happy, Louise Alice, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Emma, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. He died at the age of 63 in November 1936 in Springfield, South Carolina. He was buried in Springfield, South Carolina.1 1 -
