Abraham Noah Boland 
Abraham Noah was born on April 19th, 1851 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina.1 Abraham Noah's father was Middleton Boland and his mother was Anna Barbara Frick. His paternal grandparents were Abram Boland and Eva Christina Sease. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named David, Levi Calhoun, Edward Jonah, Lawson Pettus, Ira Coens, Rachel Happy, Louise Alice, Ellen M., Frances Victoria, Emma, Mary Catherine and Corrie Ada. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He had a half-sister named Lula Beatress. He died at the age of 82 on January 15th, 1934 in Little Mountain, Newberry County, South Carolina. Abraham, known commonly as Noah, is considered by many as the founder of
the town of Little Mountain. His original farm house is in the town and
it has been said that he donated the land for the Holy Trinity Lutheran
Church and the Little Mountain School.
