Isabella 'Elizabeth' was born in 1214 in Winchester, England.  Isabella 'Elizabeth''s father was John Lackland and her mother was Lady Isabella Taillefer d'Angoulême.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry II Curtmantle Plantagenet and Duchess of Aquitaine Eläeonore; her maternal grandparents were Aymer Taillefer and Alice de Courtenay. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry III, Richard, Joan and Eleanor. She had fourteen half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Osbert Gifford, Oliver FitzRoy, Geofrey FitzRoy, Richard, Henry, John FitzJohn, Eudo, Ivo, Hugh, Henry, Guy, I, Sir William, Aymer, Joanna, Isabel "la Blanche", Joanna, Matilda, Alice, Isabelle, Marguerite and Agatha.  She died about 1241 in Brindisi, Apulia, Sicily.

‌Isabella 'Elizabeth' and Frederick II were married in a religious ceremony on July 20th, 1235.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Conrad IV, Henry and Margaret.
