Philippe I 'the Fair' was born on May 23rd, 1052 in Reims, Champagne, France.  Philippe I 'the Fair''s father was Henry I Capet and his mother was Anna Yaroslavna.  His paternal grandparents were Robert II 'the Pious' Capet and Constance de Toulouse; his maternal grandparents were Jarolaus (Yaroslav) I 'the Wise' and Ingigerd (Anna) Olafsdottir. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Louis IV, Hugues III 'Magnus', Emma Capet of and Robert.  He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Hugh 'the Great'.  He died at the age of 56 on July 29th, 1108 in Melun, Isle De France, France.  He was buried in St-Benoit-Sur-Loire, France.

‌Philippe I 'the Fair' and Bertha of were married in a religious ceremony in 1072.  They had four sons and a daughter, named Louis VI "the Fat", Henri, Charles, Eudes and Constance.
