Matilda of Flanders 
Matilda of was born in 1031 in Flanders, France. Matilda of's father was Baldwin V 'the Pious' and her mother was Adela (Alix) Capet. Her paternal grandparents were IV Baldwin and Otgina (Ogive) of Luxembourg; her maternal grandparents were Robert II 'the Pious' Capet and Constance de Toulouse. She had three brothers named Baldwin VI "the, Robrecht and Count of Flanders. She was the second oldest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert II "the Burgundian", I, Alix and Helena. She died at the age of 52 on November 2nd, 1083 in Caen, Normandy.General Notes
Matilda, daughter of Baldwin the Seventh, Count of Flanders, descended from the Emperor Charlemagne, through Judith, wife of Baldwin the Forester of Arden, created by his father-in-law, Charles the Bald, and first Count of Flanders, and descended from Alfred the Great through Alfritha, his daughter, who married Baldwin the Second, Count of Flanders
