Frederick II was born on December 26th, 1194 in Lesi, Italy.  Frederick II's father was Heinrich VI von Hohenstaufen and his mother was Constance of Sicily.  His paternal grandparents were Frederick I "Barbarossa" and Beatrix de Macon; his maternal grandparents were Roger II Guiscard and Beatrice De Réthel.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 55 on December 13th, 1250.
