Stillborn was born in April 1859 in Southampton, Hampshire.1   Stillborn's father was Moses Banger and his mother was Rachel Dear.  His paternal grandparents were Stephen Browning Banger and Jane Sanger; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dear and Harriet Cannings. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Albert, Stephen, Stillborn, Harriet, Elizabeth and Jane.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Harriet.  He died in April 1859 in Southampton, Hampshire.  He was buried on April 15th, 1859 in Southampton Old Cemetery C014 196.1
