Harriet Cannings

Harriet was born in 1801 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire and her baptism took place there on May 25th, 1801.¹ Harriet's father was Thomas Cannings and her mother was Sarah Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Cannings and Ann Austence; her maternal grandparents were John Brown and Sarah Tubb. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William, William, Thomas, Solomon, James, Daniel, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 70 in 1871 in Alderbury, Wiltshire.¹
