Sarah was born in 1771 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire and her baptism took place there on April 14th, 1771.1   Sarah's father was John Brown and her mother was Sarah Tubb.  Her paternal grandparents were John Brown and Martha Morris. She had a brother and two sisters, named Solomon, Sarah and Betty.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 82 in March 1853 in Alderbury, Wiltshire.2
