Thomas was born in 1780.1  Thomas' father was Moses Banger and his mother was Ann Witt.  His paternal grandparents were William Banger and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were John Witt and Jane Frampton. He had a brother and four sisters, named William, Mary, Jane, Lucy and Sarah.  He died at the age of 78 in March 1858 in Salisbury, Wiltshire.2
