William was born in 1775.1   William's father was Moses Banger and his mother was Ann Witt.  His paternal grandparents were William Banger and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were John Witt and Jane Frampton. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Jane, Lucy and Sarah.  He died at the age of 77 in June 1852 in Marylebone, Middlesex.2
