Jane was born in 1708 in Bower Chalk, Wiltshire and her christening took place there on July 25th, 1708.1 2   Jane's father was Allen Frampton and her mother was Jane. She had five brothers named Allen, Henry, Richard, Matthew and John.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
